We are seeking a dynamic Expediter to join our team.  A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

  1. Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotel
  2. Offer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the LINE’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendliness
  3. Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of the sequence of service, following this sequence for every guest
  4. Possess knowledge of the POS system to correctly and strategically coordinate with team members
  5. Must have full knowledge of menu items, their ingredients and preparation techniques
  6. Ensure that food presentation and platting of menu items is of the highest standard
  7. Maintain proper communication with the FOH and BOH to ensure smooth food service
  8. Manage flow of food both from BOH to FOH and vice versa
  9. Assist with any clean up, set up and break down of the dining room
  10. Complete assigned side work 
  11. Assist coworkers in any task necessary to ensure a great environment for guests and coworkers
  12. Execute any additional employee duties requested by management
  13. Possess expert knowledge of all food and beverage aspects of the restaurant
  14. Maintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotel
  15. Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested

Core Competencies

  1. High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  2. Two (2) years related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
  3. Strong communication skills
  4. Collaborative spirit

  6. Computer Proficiency: POS
  7. Positive Attitude
  8. Eye for Detail
  9. Problem solving abilities
